It has taken us a bit of time to intially get things just the way we want them here at The Ship Inn.
We hope you'll be able to appreciate the decor of both the interior and exterior, as well as the surrounding land that surrounds our gardens - which our very own Landlady is very keen on upkeeping
Please see below a small overview of our Bar, Garden and Gardens.
More pictures of our pub and surrounding gardens will be added in due course.
Our main restuarant is based at the top of the pub, with seating accompanying up to 40 people. It is here that we sit, cater for and entertain our guests throughout the week and weekends. The decoration reflects the personality of the pub; a rustic and traditional look with a fireplace complimenting the theme throughout.
Adjacent to the restaurant lays our traditional x century bar, stocking real ales, beers, ciders, spirits and a full range of wines supplied by Berry Bros and Rudd along with traditional bar snacks such as nuts and crisps. Along this bar you will find our locals as well as passers by.
We pride ourselves on our recently renovated garden. Perfect for enjoying either enjoying a drink or a meal in the sun. We found the garden in a state of needing TLC. Since, we have renovated the river bank, levelled out the turf and built a pond. Our very own landlady prides herself on the upkeep of the bloomage, ensuring that the grounds are full of colour throughout the year.
